Of all the people I’ve met in my life, the individual I respect the most is my father. The reason I admire him so much is because he isn’t just my father; he’s also my dad. “Anyone can be a father,” according to a wise man, “but it takes a real man to be a dad.”
I believe that not every father can be a parent; it takes bravery, power, responsibility, patience, acceptance, love, justice, dependability, and faith. Despite the circumstances we are in today, my father never hesitates to show his family how much he loves us.
What I admire the most about my father is how he has always been there for me, even when things were tough. In fact, it was during those tough times that he was at his best. He would always find a way to make things work, no matter how difficult they may have seemed.
I remember one time, we were going through a really tough time financially. My dad had lost his job and things were tight. But, my dad never gave up. He started his own business and worked day and night to make it successful. And, he did it!
Now, my dad is retired but he is still the same hardworking man I always admired. He is always there for me when I need him and I know he will always be there for me, no matter what.
When I realized that I was unwell, I had to remain at home in bed. My father had a lot of work to do, so he left early and promised to be back late. When he arrived at the workplace, he phoned me and inquired about my health; I informed him that I wasn’t feeling well, and 15 minutes later he returned home because he was concerned about me. He worked while taking care of me the same time. That is when I first comprehended how much time and effort my father gives up for me.
From then on I always admired him because he is always taking care of me and my sisters. My dad is a very simple person, he doesn’t like to show off or talk about himself. He is very down to earth and always puts others before himself. He always has a smile on his face, no matter how tired he is. My dad is my role model and the person I admire the most in the world.
My father came from a close family who cherished each other. He was a curious person who grew older, wiser in many ways, and it was only a matter of time before he discovered the answers to all his queries.
My dad is the person I admire the most. Even though my dad and I have different opinions on almost everything, I still look up to him because he is a strong and independent individual. He has always been there for me, whether I needed help with my homework or just a shoulder to cry on. My dad is someone who I can always count on, no matter what.
My dad has always been a hard worker. He has held down multiple jobs over the years in order to provide for our family. Even when times were tough, he never complained and always managed to keep a smile on his face. His work ethic is something that I have always admired about him.
My father has taught me that, while you will most likely not have the answer to everything, this is what life is for – to learn from your mistakes and discover the answers you’re seeking. From him, I also learnt that if you want others to listen to you, you must speak. You must fight for what you believe in and never give in. He is a man who is extremely determined; he will achieve anything he sets his mind to.
You can see it in his eyes, the look of power, and success. My dad is my hero, my best friend, and the person I admire the most. He has always been there for me when I needed him. He has never given up on me no matter how hard things have gotten. I know that I can always count on him to be there for me no matter what happens in life. He is a great role model for me to follow and I am grateful to have him as my father.
I never knew who I looked up to when people asked, “Who were you influenced by?” My childhood, I always looked up to someone—whether it’s an actress, a singer, or a made-up character like Johnny Depp, Demi Lovato, or Cinderella. If someone asks me who I admire today, I would say my mother because she’s my hero and cares about her family. While I adore my Disney princess movies as much as ever before (particularly Cinderella and Snow White), whenever I’m with my mother, she makes me feel like her little princess.
My mother always puts her family first no matter what, and she’s always been there for me when I needed her. When I was about five years old, my father passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack. It was really hard for all of us to cope with, but my mother was our rock.
She held us all together and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though it’s been almost ten years, I know it still affects her deeply. Whenever I have a bad day or feel like giving up, she is always there to encourage me and help me get back on track. Because of her strength and courage, I am the person I am today.
Without my mother, I would not be the same person. She has helped shape me into the strong, independent woman I am today. I owe her everything. She is my best friend and I know I can always count on her. No matter what life throws at us, I know we will always be there for each other. That’s why she is the most important person in my life and the one I admire most.
I saw her as my charming prince who would come to my rescue from a tower with a dragon. She’s the person I turn to when I’m down and depressed, the key holder for my heart, and she’s everything. My mother is first because she’s my inspiration; likewise, everyone instructed me that “those heroes don’t go away.”
She always goes out of her way to make everyone happy. When I was younger she tuck me in at night, she helped with my homework, and even went to all my soccer games. Even now as I’m older she still helps me when I need it, but now she lets me help her more because I am more mature. Whenever somebody asks me “Who’s your hero?”
My answer is always the same person, my mother. Another reason why my mother is the person I admire the most is because she is strong willed. The meaning of strong-willed is a person who is determined to do what they want and not give up easily. That definition describes my mom perfectly because no matter what she goes through she never gives up.
For example, when my dad left she had to raise three kids by herself while working two jobs and going to school full time. It would have been easy for her to give up, but she didn’t because she wanted a better life for us kids. In other words, she wanted us to have what she didn’t have growing up which was a father figure and financial stability. Even though we were poor and my dad wasn’t around, I always felt like the luckiest kid in the world because I had a mom who loved me unconditionally.
The last reason why my mother is the person I admire the most is because she is selfless. Selfless means doing things for others with no thought of getting anything in return. From taking care of her kids to helping out a neighbor, my mom is always putting others first. For example, when one of my brothers was going through a tough time she was there for him every step of the way even though it meant sacrificing her own happiness. Also, when my grandfather was sick she took care of him until the day he passed away even though it was hard on her emotionally.
In conclusion, the three reasons why my mother is the person I admire the most are because she’s my hero, she’s strong-willed, and she’s selfless. I know that I can always count on her no matter what and that’s why she will always be the number one person in my life.
